choices

lately, i came across somethings that made me really think...reflect and make a choice...actually this has been a conflict within me for decades already...i came to terms with it just lately and made my choice...

actually what we really want does not always happen, and sometimes what we don't want happens.ganyan talaga...in life we always have a choice, soemtimes it comes in twos. the following are my choices in life...

i choose to move on...i have reached rock bottom and i've chosen to move on...i don't deserve a life which i perceive to be bitter at me (or the other way around). there are definitely challenges along the way but that doesn't stop me to become who i am now and who i will be in the future. dwelling on past aches, doesn't make me a better person, but learning from those hurts will make me a stronger human being.

i choose to be happy...there may be some sadness i encounter from time to time, nevertheless, i choose to be happy all the time. i choose to be easily entertained and laugh at my husbands petty jokes, and laugh hard about my funny mistakes.

i choose to see the good in every situation... i never had a father technically. i only had him for six years of my life. sometimes i think about being fatherless and i thought that there must be something good that came out of me having no father while growing up. i was adored by my father being his youngest daughter, growing up without him (father) made me very independent...too independent that i sometimes forget to update family members about my life's goings on. growing up without a father made me a very strong person.. yes very strong indeed,i was able to withstand a lot of heartaches because i felt that i knew and felt it already when i was six years old. i cried when hurt but i cried more when i saw tatay lying lifeless in the coffin. the experience i had of a real heartbrek happened when i was six.

i choose to be satisfied... i have chosen to be contented with whatever i have, but as far as i am concerned, i have everything i need and want in life. thank God for every good and perfect gifts come from Him. i do not compare myself with people because we are all unique individuals. envy is the root of destruction.

i choose to enhance the skills that i have... i am a domesticated person, i love staying at home and doing housewife things. i love to bake, to decorate a cake, to cook food and watch homar and zion gobble all those food on the table. i love to design dresses for my own consumption...ha ha ha...

i choose to rest and relax...i love to watch TV, i love to lie down and watch movies, and favorite shows on tv.

i choose to enjoy whatever it is that i have...
i love to wear dangling earrings, but i don't splurge on it, i just use what i have...i love to read books but i just buy those from booksale or when i see something worth reading i save up so that i can buy it, but most of what i have (books) are previously owned. but i suggest you buy the book i co authored, entitled: Abnormal Psychology, available in all national bookstores.

and a lot more of my choices in life:
i choose to be loving...
i choose to be a good person...
i choose to have a personal relationship with God...
i choose not to eat so much rice...(results will follow)...
i choose to be playful...
i choose to be vain sometimes...(i am using a soap that is making my skin beautiful and white)

Life is full of choices...what's yours?
